All submissions must provide required metadata; as such, a metadata record will always be created and accessible even in the case of inaccessible full text.

All content types are accepted into the institutional repository. “Working papers” must be approved by the Dean of the college for which the submitter belongs. Digital content eligible for submission to the Qatar University Institutional Repository must fall into one of the following categories:

Faculty Conribution

Faculty Contribution is work created by a QU faculty member during the faculty member’s tenure at QU.

Student Conribution

  • Student Contribution is work created by a current QU graduate student in full or partial fulfillment of the requirements of the degree received.
  • All graduate students are required to submit their thesis to the Qatar University Institutional Repository.

University publications

University Publications are works or series of works created and/or published by a QU department, office, unit, center, program, or other entity.

Research Publications

A Research Publication is a work or series of works created and/or published by a QU Research Unit.

Guests

The Guests category contains the works presented at the University for lectures, conferences, and academic events.
