AbstractThis preliminary study explores the level of adoption of CSR activities in Qatari firms. Moreover, it examines the relationship between corporate social responsibility and organizational performance. The data gathered from Qatari companies. In particular, data consisted of 38 completed questionnaires gathered from managers who are in charge of CSR activities in the company. Descriptive statistics provided. In addition, PLS software used in order to test the hypothesized relationship between CSR activities and organizational performance. The main results reveal that the average spending on CSR amongst the surveyed companies is more than 1 million Qatari Riyals annually. Moreover, there are above average emphasis on all CSR activities in the Qatari companies. Finally, as a preliminary study, the results of the direct relationship analysis indicated no significant relationship for the relationship between all CSR activities and organizational performance, except for the CSR-government and organizational performance link.
