الملخصThe genomes of Chrysoporthe austroafricana, Diplodia scrobiculata, Fusarium nygami, Leptographium lundbergii, Limonomyces culmigenus, Stagonosporopsis tanaceti, and Thielaviopsis punctulata are presented in this genome announcement. These seven genomes are from endophytes, plant pathogens and economically important fungal species. The genome sizes range from 26.6 Mb in the case of Leptographium lundbergii to 44 Mb for Chrysoporthe austroafricana. The availability of these genome data will provide opportunities to resolve longstanding questions regarding the taxonomy of species in these genera, and may contribute to our understanding of the lifestyles through comparative studies with closely related organisms.

The research on Stagonosporopsis tanaceti was supported by Botanical Resources Australia, Agricultural Services Pty Ltd,, and USDA-NIFA Hatch project NYG-625424, managed by The New York Agricultural Experiment Station, Cornell University (Geneva, NY). The genome sequencing of Limonomyces culmigenus (CBS661.85) was funded by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS). The research on Thielaviopsis punctulata was made possible by a grant from the Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) under National Priorities Research Program (NPRP-5-1002-4-010).
